1. Purpose of this Policy

This Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy explains how Delta Analytics collects, uses, retains, transfers and protects personal data when you visit or use delta-analytics.gr and when you contact us through it.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), applicable Greek law and other applicable data protection and privacy requirements.

This Policy applies to this website. More specific information may be provided in connection with a particular service, application or contractual relationship.

2. Data controller

The controller of personal data submitted through, or otherwise processed via, delta-analytics.gr is the business operating under the trading name Delta Analytics.

The controller's full details and contact information are set out at the end of this Policy.

3. Personal data we process

3.1 Information you provide through the contact form

When you submit an enquiry through the contact form, we may process:

  • your full name;
  • the name of your business or organisation, if provided;
  • your email address;
  • your telephone number;
  • the content of your message and any information you choose to include;
  • confirmation that you have been informed through this Privacy Policy;
  • the date and time of submission;
  • technical information necessary for the secure and proper transmission of your enquiry, where generated by the technical infrastructure.

Please do not include special categories of personal data or other sensitive information in free-text fields unless this is genuinely necessary and an appropriate legal basis exists.

3.2 Technical data

When you access the website, the hosting, network and security infrastructure may process information such as:

  • IP address;
  • date and time of the request;
  • the page or resource requested;
  • browser and device information;
  • technical log files;
  • information relating to security, abuse prevention and proper operation.

The exact scope of technical data may depend on the infrastructure used to operate and secure the website.

3.3 Privacy and cookie preferences

The website may store your privacy or cookie choices in your browser so that they can be remembered.

Further information is provided in the Cookie Policy.

3.4 Website analytics data

If you enable the “Analytics” category, Google Analytics 4 (Google) may process information about your use of the website, such as pages viewed, interactions and technical device characteristics, for aggregate measurement.

This processing takes place only after the relevant consent and is described in detail in the Cookie Policy.

4. Purposes of processing

Personal data may be processed in order to:

  • receive and manage contact enquiries;
  • respond to questions and requests;
  • explore a possible engagement;
  • take steps at your request before a possible contract is entered into;
  • operate and secure the website;
  • prevent abuse, malicious activity and technical problems;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary;
  • retain technical privacy preferences.

Contact form details are not used for unsolicited marketing communications simply because an enquiry has been submitted.

5. Legal bases

Depending on the circumstances, processing may be based on:

  • taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract;
  • legitimate interests, where processing is necessary for the security and operation of the website, responding to general enquiries, preventing abuse, resolving technical problems or establishing or defending legal claims, provided that your rights and freedoms do not override those interests;
  • compliance with a legal obligation;
  • consent, only where a specific processing activity requires, and genuinely relies on, consent.

Confirming that you have read the Privacy Policy when submitting the form confirms that you have been informed about the processing of your personal data. It does not mean that all processing relating to your enquiry is based on consent.

6. Recipients and service-provider categories

We do not sell visitors' personal data.

Access to personal data is limited to people who need it for the purposes described in this Policy and to external providers necessary for operating the website and handling enquiries.

These may include providers of:

  • hosting and technical infrastructure;
  • electronic communications and email delivery;
  • network and security services;
  • website analytics (Google Analytics 4 — Google), only where the relevant consent has been given;
  • other supporting technology services.

These providers process only the data required for the relevant service and are subject, where required, to appropriate data protection commitments.

7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some providers or sub-processors may be located, or may process data, outside the European Economic Area.

Where personal data is transferred internationally, an appropriate mechanism recognised under the GDPR is applied as relevant, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission, Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful safeguard.

8. Retention

Personal data is not kept for longer than necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, taking into account any legal, tax, accounting and other obligations.

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement

Personal data submitted through the contact form that does not result in an engagement is normally retained for up to twelve (12) months from the last substantive communication.

Data may be kept for longer where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

If an enquiry results in an engagement, the relevant information may become part of the client record and be subject to the retention periods applicable to the contractual, tax and accounting relationship.

Technical and security records may be kept for periods appropriate to the relevant operational and security needs.

9. Security

Appropriate technical and organisational measures are taken to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, disclosure or destruction, taking into account the nature of the processing and the associated risks.

No transmission over the internet and no technical system, however, can be regarded as entirely free from risk.

10. Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may have the right to:

  • access your personal data;
  • rectification;
  • erasure;
  • restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • data portability, where applicable;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

The exercise of these rights is subject to the conditions, exemptions and limitations of applicable law.

Requests can be sent to support@delta-analytics.gr.

We may ask for reasonable information to confirm the identity of the person making a request where this is necessary to protect personal data.

11. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority under the GDPR.

12. Automated decision-making

Based on the current operation of delta-analytics.gr, no automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning visitors or similarly significantly affects them, within the meaning of the GDPR, takes place through the website.

13. Children's data

The website and the services of Delta Analytics are intended for businesses and professionals and are not designed to collect personal data from children.

If it becomes apparent that a child's personal data has been submitted without an appropriate legal basis, appropriate steps may be taken to delete it.

14. Cookies and similar technologies

The website may use cookies, browser local storage or similar technologies that are necessary for its operation or that are activated in accordance with your choices.

Where a technology is not strictly necessary and requires prior consent, it is not activated before you make the relevant choice.

Detailed and up-to-date information is provided in the Cookie Policy and in Cookie Settings.

15. Third-party links

The website may contain links to third-party websites or services. Delta Analytics does not determine the data protection practices of independent third parties.

We recommend that you review the relevant privacy information before providing personal data to a third-party service.

16. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the operation of the website, its providers, processing activities or applicable law.

The date of the latest update is displayed at the top of this page.

Where a material change requires additional information or new consent under applicable law, appropriate steps will be taken.
