Cookie Policy
Last updated:
1. Purpose of this Policy
This Policy explains how delta-analytics.gr uses cookies, browser local storage and similar technologies.
It supplements the Privacy Policy and should be read together with it.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files or pieces of information that may be stored on a visitor's device when using a website.
Similar functions can be performed through other browser technologies, such as local storage.
For simplicity, where this Policy uses the term “cookies”, it may also include similar technologies for storing or accessing information on a device, unless stated otherwise.
3. Categories
The preference management tool distinguishes the following categories:
Necessary
Required for essential functionality, security and retaining your privacy choices.
Where technically necessary, they always remain active.
Analytics
May be used to measure the use and performance of the website and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used.
Off by default. Where prior consent is required, they are not activated without your positive choice.
Functional
May support optional features or preferences that are not strictly necessary for basic operation.
Off by default. Where prior consent is required, they are not activated without your positive choice.
The presence of a category within Cookie Settings does not necessarily mean that a technology within that category is active at all times. Technologies actually in use depend on the website's current technical configuration.
4. Strictly necessary technologies
Necessary technologies may be used where required to provide the website, maintain its security or store your privacy choices.
Where the conditions of applicable law for strictly necessary technologies are met, prior consent is not required.
5. Analytics technologies — Google Analytics 4
The website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a website analytics service provided by Google, exclusively when you have enabled the “Analytics” category.
The purpose is the aggregate measurement of website usage, traffic and interaction, so that content and operation can be evaluated and improved. The category is off by default and GA4 does not load before your positive choice.
After consent, GA4 may create cookies or identifiers on your device and process information such as pages viewed, navigation behaviour and technical device characteristics. Data may be processed by Google under the privacy and data-processing framework applied by Google itself.
The contents of the contact form fields (name, email, telephone number, business name, message) are not sent to Google Analytics.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie Settings. After withdrawal, no further measurement data is sent and the GA4 cookies created by this website are removed where technically possible.
Cookies created after analytics consent
- _ga
- Google Analytics 4 (Google) — distinguishes visitors at an aggregate level · category: Analytics · duration up to 2 years
- _ga_<container-id>
- Google Analytics 4 (Google) — maintains session state · category: Analytics · duration up to 2 years
The record of your consent choice (version and date of choice) is a Necessary function and is managed separately from Google Analytics.
6. Functional technologies
Where optional functional technologies are introduced, they are controlled through the corresponding category where required.
They remain off by default where prior consent is required.
7. Consent and legal basis
Strictly necessary technologies may operate without prior consent where the relevant legal conditions are met.
Non-necessary technologies that require consent remain off until you make a positive choice.
The absence of a choice is not treated as consent.
8. Retention of your preferences
Your cookie and privacy choices may be stored in your browser so that the website can remember them.
Your choice is kept for up to six (6) months.
After this period, you may be asked to make a new choice.
A new choice may be requested earlier where the technologies in use change materially.
9. Accepting, rejecting and managing optional technologies
The consent tool allows you to:
- Reject optional technologies;
- open Cookie Settings;
- Accept all.
Optional categories are off by default.
Accepting and rejecting must remain equally easy, and no design that unfairly steers you towards consent is used.
10. Changing or withdrawing consent
Where optional technologies exist, you can change or withdraw your choices at any time through Cookie Settings.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
Future use of technologies that require the relevant consent stops in line with your new choice.
11. New technologies and consent versioning
The website maintains a version of its consent configuration.
If a materially new optional technology is introduced, or an existing use changes materially so that your previous choice is no longer an appropriate basis for the new processing, the consent configuration can be versioned and a new choice requested.
A previous general acceptance is not automatically treated as consent for a materially new optional technology where renewed consent is required.
This principle was applied when Google Analytics 4 was introduced: previous consent choices were not treated as consent for the new technology and a new choice was requested.
12. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to delete or restrict cookies and site data.
Deleting stored strictly necessary preferences may cause notices or consent tools to appear again.
Browser settings do not replace the requirement for prior consent where this is required by law.
13. Third-party technologies
Website features may use third-party services that apply their own storage or access technologies.
Where activating such a service requires prior consent, it is not activated before you make the relevant choice.
This Policy and Cookie Settings are updated where necessary to reflect the technologies actually in use.
14. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated when the operation of the website, the technologies used or applicable legal requirements change.
The date of the latest update is displayed at the top of this page.
Where a material change affects a consent choice, a new choice is requested where required.
